Pricing partner to underwriting
Closer to an underwriting partnership role than a modelling-heavy IC position because recommendations and portfolio decisions are made with business partners.
Associate P&C pricing role in Omaha, Nebraska, supporting Argo's specialty insurance businesses. You'll build predictive pricing models, optimize portfolios, plan loss ratios, evaluate new opportunities, and partner with underwriting, claims, finance, IT, and marketing in a fully onsite setting.
Requirements
Must have
3+ years predictive modeling experience
Detail-oriented with ability to evaluate accuracy
Legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship
Strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or Finance
4+ CAS exams in pursuit of ACAS (or equivalent)
Experience with GLMs, machine learning, and programming (SQL, R, Python)
Broad overall knowledge of insurance
Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to manage concurrent projects
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Nice to have
Experience with training AI agents
