JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead actuarial pricing and bid development for Medicare Advantage Part C and D
  • Perform cohort-level profitability analysis and forecasting for MA plans
  • Translate actuarial results into executive-level insights and strategy
  • Work remotely, hybrid, or onsite in Topeka, KS per telecommuting policy
  • Ideal for credentialed SOA actuary with 6+ years of health pricing experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Medicare Advantage pricing and bid development
  • Part C and Part D (PDP) profitability and forecasting
  • Regulatory actuarial exhibits and rate filing support
  • Cohort-level analysis and tracking actual-to-expected outcomes

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Associateship or Fellowship in SOA (ASA or FSA) and AAA membership required
  • Minimum of 6 years of actuarial experience in pricing/forecasting
  • In-depth Medicare Advantage pricing and regulatory knowledge
  • Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python or R, and Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience leading projects and communicating to senior leadership
