HIGHLIGHTS

Life-focused actuarial modeling role building and maintaining Prophet models for annuity, variable annuity, life, institutional, and workforce benefit products. You will lead model development, peer-review colleagues' work, and collaborate with IT on cloud/automation and model risk management. Positions are available at ASA and FSA levels with Newport Beach, Omaha and some remote-eligible roles.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead Prophet model development for annuity, VA, life, institutional, and workforce benefits
  • Act as internal Prophet expert and peer-review other developers' work
  • Collaborate with IT on model integration, automation and cloud deployment
  • ASA and FSA level roles with Newport Beach and Omaha salary bands; some FSA remote-eligibility
  • Support model risk management, testing, and training for model users

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Prophet model development
  • life and annuity product modeling (VA, RILA, FIA, term, UL, VUL)
  • model risk management and governance
  • production model architecture and automation

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FSA or ASA designation required
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Prophet model development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related
  • Proven experience with actuarial financial reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Experience collaborating with IT and cloud/devops tools (Azure/AWS/Snowflake/Git)
