You will build and maintain actuarial and projection models, evaluate product design and profitability, and partner with asset managers and insurers. Based in Columbus, OH (remote candidates in the lower 48 may be considered).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Price and develop in-plan annuity and guaranteed income solutions for defined contribution plans
- Build, maintain, and run complex actuarial, projection, and valuation models
- Partner with asset managers and other insurers on customized retirement solutions
- Senior role requiring FSA credential and 5–7 years of actuarial experience
- Primary location Columbus, OH; remote candidates in the lower 48 may be considered
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Pricing guaranteed income and in-plan annuity solutions
- Actuarial modeling and projection for retirement products
- Valuation and reserving under statutory, GAAP, and tax regimes
- Partnering with asset managers and insurers on product solutions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA designation required
- Typically 5 to 7 years of actuarial experience
- Experience with retirement solutions, annuities, or guaranteed income pricing
- Mastery of Excel and Access including VBA and analytical tools such as Tableau
- Must be eligible to work in the US without employer-sponsored authorization
