JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead North America Specialty reserving and manage day-to-day work of up to 4 analysts
- Set reserves, review reserving processes and ensure consistency with global standards
- Consolidate reserving MI and present results to senior business leaders
- Support audits, independent reserve reviews and SOX processes
- Primarily in-office role based in Boston, MA
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Commercial lines reserving
- Setting reserves and reserve reviews
- Managing reserving processes and controls
- Supporting audits and SOX reserve reviews
- Consolidating reserving MI and reporting to senior leaders
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years' experience in commercial lines reserving
- Experience setting reserves and managing the reserving process
- BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Experience coordinating reserve reviews and reporting to senior management
- Ability to improve reserving processes and manage analyst workflow
