HIGHLIGHTS

Senior retirement actuarial role on MetLife's RIS team in New York (hybrid). You will own and develop pricing models (Excel, Prophet), support pricing consistency, liability projections, reserving and asset modeling across pension risk transfer and institutional annuity products. Reports to the AVP, Pricing Frameworks and works with Actuarial, Investments, Risk, Reinsurance and Finance.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Develop and own pricing models for RIS products using Excel and Prophet
  • Support pricing consistency and actuarial support across RIS product teams
  • Work on liability projections, reserving, asset modeling and assumption setting
  • Hybrid role — minimum 3 days per week in New York office
  • Ideal for FSA or pre-FSA candidates with 5–10 years in insurance/reinsurance

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Insurance or reinsurance experience
  • Financial modelling and analysis
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FSA or pre-FSA required
  • 5–10 years of insurance or reinsurance experience
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, statistics or similar
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Experience with Prophet, VBA, or Alteryx (preferred skills referenced)
