Senior P&C pricing actuary role focused on professional lines (Cyber, Tech E&O, MPL) in Chicago. You will develop and implement rate plans and pricing models, partner with underwriting, product, claims and decision-engine teams, and present recommendations to leadership. Reports to the Director, Pricing.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop pricing models and rate plans for Cyber, Tech E&O and MPL
- Work cross-functionally with underwriting, product, claims and decision-engine teams
- Analyze product performance using internal data, rater and forecasting tools
- Hands-on role with SQL and Python/R; strong Excel proficiency expected
- Senior-level role reporting to Director, Pricing in Chicago
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Professional lines pricing (Cyber, Tech E&O, MPL)
- Analyzing profitability of personal and/or commercial lines products
- Leading end-to-end pricing projects
- ACAS or FCAS credential
- Proficiency with Excel and SQL; experience with Python or R
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ACAS or FCAS required
- Proficiency with Excel and SQL; experience with Python or R
- Experience analyzing profitability of personal and/or commercial lines
- Proven track record leading end-to-end pricing projects
