Client-facing actuarial consultant

Closer to client-facing consulting than a modelling-heavy IC role because customer ownership and engagement leadership are explicit.

Remote US Health actuarial consulting role for Arbital Health’s value-based care practice. You’ll lead client engagements, analyze medical claims and financial outcomes, manage data, review analysts’ work, and help develop adjudication software. The role is aimed at an ASA with 7-10 years of medical claims experience; FSA is preferred.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • 7-10 years of experience working with medical claims data
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent collaborator and teammate
  • Diligent time management and prioritization
  • Strong technical skills (Excel, R, Python)
  • Interest in solving healthcare’s toughest problems

Nice to have

  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) preferred
