Senior life/reinsurance actuarial role supporting MetLife's UK Funded Reinsurance within Retirement Income Solutions in New York. You will lead collateral management, support new product development and deal structuring, and partner with investments, pricing, valuation and legal. The role reports to the Director & Actuary, UK Reinsurance and is hybrid (minimum 3 days/week in office).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support UK Funded Reinsurance product development and client negotiations
- Lead collateral management and monthly exposure reviews for cedants
- Partner with Investments, Pricing, Valuation, Finance and Legal
- Hybrid role — minimum 3 days per week in New York office
- Requires FSA, ASA or CFA and 5+ years insurance/reinsurance experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- reinsurance industry experience
- collateral management and collateral calculations
- annuity and pension risk transfer products
- client relationship experience with cedants and brokers
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of insurance and/or reinsurance industry experience
- FSA, ASA or CFA required
- Experience with collateral calculations and collateral management
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, finance, math, or related
