HIGHLIGHTS

Senior retirement actuary role on MetLife's US Pension Pricing team in New York (hybrid). You’ll lead post‑sale onboarding and administration for PRT (pension risk transfer) cases, build and review benefit calculation tools, perform true‑ups and price variance analysis, and partner with product, IT, contracts and operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead post‑sale onboarding and administration for strategic PRT pension cases
  • Develop and review benefit calculation tools and client‑facing reconciliations
  • Perform true‑up, amendment, cost listing and price variance analyses
  • Collaborate with Product, IT, Contracts, Implementation and Operations
  • Hybrid role in New York — minimum 3 days per week in office

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • pensions pricing and post‑sale administration
  • PRT (pension risk transfer) case onboarding
  • benefit calculation tool development and review
  • true‑up and amendment calculations
  • data analysis and reconciliation for client calculations

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years actuarial experience, including 4+ years pensions experience
  • ASA designation with the Society of Actuaries required
  • Strong Excel, Access and Visual Basic (VBA) skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, actuarial science or related
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
