Senior P&C actuary supporting AIG’s US Programs business. You will lead rate studies, due diligence and onboarding, manage large account renewals, support rate filings and portfolio management for commercial lines. Role based in New York, focused on pricing and underwriting partnership for Property, Auto, GL and Professional Liability.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Senior pricing actuary for US Programs focused on commercial lines
- Lead rate studies, due diligence, onboarding and large account renewals
- Support admitted rate filings and quantify reinsurance costs
- Work directly with MGA underwriters and actuarial partners
- Based in New York; primarily in-office role
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Programs pricing experience
- Treaty reinsurance pricing experience
- Commercial lines pricing (Property, Auto, GL, Professional Liability)
- Familiarity with catastrophe modelling
- Rate filing and regulatory experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ACAS or FCAS credential required
- 6+ years Programs or Treaty Reinsurance pricing, or 8+ years P&C pricing
- Experience across Commercial Property, Auto, GL and Professional Liability
- Familiarity with CAT models and reinsurance structures
- Experience with SQL and/or R; Power BI or Tableau preferred
