Role Summary

Senior life valuation actuary focused on US GAAP implementation and ongoing US GAAP valuation for Banner Life in Frederick, MD (hybrid). You will calculate and report reserves, develop valuation assumptions, test models/systems (AXIS), and act as an SME across finance, audit, and actuarial teams. The role requires deep life valuation and LDTI experience and Fellowship of the SOA.

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years of life insurance actuarial experience, including valuation
  • 5+ years of US GAAP reporting experience, including LDTI implementations
  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
  • Proficiency with Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python
