Role type

Structured actuarial development programme

Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy IC role—the rotations trade depth in one area for breadth across actuarial departments.

Entry-level Life actuarial role in Corebridge Financial’s Actuarial Development Program, based in Houston, Jersey City, or Woodland Hills with hybrid work. You’ll rotate through areas such as valuation, product development, asset-liability management, and experience analysis while progressing through SOA exams.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or other quantitative field
  • Completion of one or more SOA exams
  • Must be living or willing to relocate to Houston, TX, Jersey City, NJ, or Woodland Hills, CA

Strongly preferred

  • Detail oriented
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Familiarity with MS Office especially Access and Excel

Nice to have

  • Prior internship experience preferred
  • Programming skill in SAS, Python, Visual Basic, SQL, or C++ a plus
