Job Summary:

The Allstate Benefits Actuarial Product Senior Consultant I develops and recommends modifications of forms, products, reports, and procedures. This role provides financial analysis to serve the needs of company personnel and customers, and supervises staff, as assigned, to meet department needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Researches and recommends alternatives on product design and financial reports and coordinates implementation as directed
• Develops specifications and coordinates testing of computer systems for new products and product updates
• Manages Life70 Ratebook and Policy Print updates
• Writes complex reports, documentation and responds to inquires
• Delivers presentations to convey information to appropriate departments
• Assists employees to understand and apply basic policies, procedures or theories
• Manages relationship with Ratebook contractors assigning work, setting priorities, and monitoring workflow
• Completes annual tax reserve filings

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education and Experience:
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job.

Functional Skills:
• Knowledge of voluntary benefits Group, Health and Life Products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Excel and Word
• Intermediate experience with Life70
• Advanced logical thinking and organizational skills

Compensation offered for this role is $61,500.00-$105,750.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
