JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- 12–24 month personalized rotation across life, annuity and A&H actuarial functions
- Build and maintain actuarial models to inform management decisions
- Work with Excel, VBA, Access, PolySystems, MG-Triton, Python or R
- Explain technical work to technical and non-technical audiences
- Based in Hartford, CT; salary band $70,000–$90,000
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Passed at least 2 Society of Actuaries examinations
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
- Actuarial modeling experience and familiarity with reserve methods
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong actuarial modeling skills and proficiency with Excel, VBA, and Access
- Familiarity with actuarial systems such as PolySystems, MG-Triton, or MG-ALFA
