HIGHLIGHTS

Summer 2026 actuarial internship in Cedar Rapids, IA supporting life and annuity valuation and asset/liability work. You will assist with IFRS, Principles Based Reserves (PBR), C3P1, cash flow testing, economic assumptions, and AXIS model files while working hybrid (Tue-Thu in office). JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Assist with quarterly IFRS, PBR/C3P1, capital reforecast, and cash flow testing
Work with AXIS model files and support asset-related code updates
Preferred coding: Python or VBA; strong Microsoft Excel skills
Hybrid in Cedar Rapids, IA — Tue/Wed/Thu in office, Mon/Fri remote

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Familiarity with insurance liability and asset valuation
Exposure to cash flow testing and ALM concepts
Understanding of Principles Based Reserves and C3P1
Knowledge of investment and finance concepts

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in actuarial science, math, stats, finance or related field
Interest and awareness of insurance liability, asset valuation, and derivatives
Familiarity with investment and finance concepts and analytical problem solving
