JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Support pricing, rate filings and reserve analyses for P&C portfolios
Prepare and validate actuarial data and maintain data pipelines
Assist in rate indications, profitability monitoring and product support
Use T-SQL, Excel and scripting (R/Python) to build reports and automation
Hybrid role based in Houston, TX (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Data management and analytics in insurance or related field
Preparing rate filings and filing support
Assisting with loss and LAE reserve analyses
Preparing rate indications and profitability analyses

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics or related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant actuarial or analytics experience
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
Familiarity with R or Python for analytics
Experience preparing rate filings and assisting with reserve analyses
