Entry-level P&C actuarial analyst role supporting Tokio Marine HCC's Public Risk Group in Minnetonka, MN (hybrid). You will prepare data reports, support pricing and rate filings, assist with loss and LAE reserve analyses, and help build data pipelines and analytical tools.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Prepare data reports, rate filings, and actuarial submissions for public entity business
- Support pricing and reserve analyses to project loss ratios and profitability
- Build and maintain data pipelines and identify automation opportunities
- Hybrid role: 3 days in-office, 2 days work-from-home (Minnetonka, MN or Troy, MI)
- Entry-level role; 1–4 actuarial exams completed (2+ preferred)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Experience or coursework in data analytics, programming, or insurance
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Experience preparing routine data reports and submissions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Completion of 1–4 actuarial exams (CAS or SOA); 2+ exams preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL; Python is a plus
- Able to commute to Minnetonka, MN or Troy, MI on a hybrid schedule
