Health actuarial analyst role on Cambia's Cost of Care Analytics team. You will build and maintain data queries and predictive models to support cost containment and healthcare cost trend management. Entry to early-career role (Assistant Actuarial Analyst / Actuary Assistant) based in Portland, OR with hybrid work across OR/WA/ID/UT.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Build and maintain data queries, analytic models, and visualizations
Use SQL, SAS and Alteryx to prepare health plan data and production code
Hybrid role (Portland, OR) with work-from-home options within OR/WA/ID/UT
Expected exam progress toward ASA/MAAA; 10% bonus target

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in math, actuarial science, statistics, CS, or related
Passed at least one SOA exam (SOA VEE preferred)

Assistant Actuary level requires at least 2 years of actuarial experience
Ability to work hybrid within Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Utah
