Entry-level actuarial role supporting actuarial services at a health insurer in Columbia, SC. You will build and update actuarial models, assist with regulatory reporting, data testing, and profitability analysis, and support pricing decisions by analyzing rates and rating structures. The role is onsite Monday–Friday at the Columbia office.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Entry-level actuarial role supporting pricing, reporting, and profitability analysis
- Prepare and update actuarial models and reconcile with financial statements
- Support regulatory reporting, data testing, and maintain financial reporting databases
- Perform basic competitor rate and rating-structure analysis to aid pricing
- Onsite role in Columbia, SC (4101 Percival Road), full-time Monday–Friday

- Bachelor’s degree in a job-related field required
- Successful completion of one SOA or CAS exam (one exam passed) required
