Assistant Actuary (Commercial Pricing) supporting Orion180’s P&C commercial product expansion in Melbourne, FL. You will develop predictive pricing models, integrate catastrophe modelling into rate development, and assist with quarterly reserving and forecasting. The role partners with product owners, IT, ERM and executives and can be remote with monthly travel.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead commercial pricing and product expansion for P&C lines
- Develop rate level indications and predictive models (GLM/ML)
- Integrate catastrophe models into pricing and forecasting
- Support quarterly reserving and financial reporting
- Ideally on-site in Melbourne, FL; remote considered with monthly travel
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C actuarial experience
- Commercial product pricing and development
- Integration of catastrophe modelling into pricing
- Quarterly reserving and forecasting experience
- Predictive modelling and segmentation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of P&C actuarial experience
- Completion of 3+ actuarial exams (up to ACAS) required
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Advanced SQL and statistical programming in R, SAS, or Python
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with pricing tools
