JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support corporate P&C actuarial reporting, rate monitoring, and financial planning
- Maintain and build Shiny dashboards (Price Monitor, Profit Study)
- Maintain actuarial databases and queries in SQL
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc analyses for management
- Onsite role based in Philadelphia, PA reporting to Corporate Actuarial Lead
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property and casualty actuarial experience
- Rate monitoring and rate filings
- Monthly and quarterly actuarial reporting
- Maintaining actuarial databases in SQL
- Shiny dashboard development and maintenance
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Four years of property and casualty actuarial experience
- BS/BA in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or related field
- Proficiency in R, SQL, VBA, and Excel
- Based in Philadelphia, PA and able to meet tight reporting timelines
