You will own product profitability, manage rate filings, and support pricing, reserving and ERM while working remotely (occasional travel to Tampa). Suitable for an ACAS-level actuary with product and data analysis experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own profitability and competitiveness of Florida homeowners products
- Manage rate review, filings, and communications with regulators
- Perform data analysis and monitoring of loss ratios and trends
- Drive product implementations and systems requirements end-to-end
- Remote role with occasional travel to Tampa, FL headquarters
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Managing homeowners insurance products
- Knowledge of Florida insurance statutes and regulations
- Working with underwriting and product development
- Experience with rate filings and regulatory engagement
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Membership as an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
- Minimum 3 years managing homeowners insurance products
- Proficient in SQL
- Proficient in data analysis with Python or R
- Experience working with underwriting and product development
