HIGHLIGHTS

Associate-level health actuary role on the Actuarial Services team focused on health value optimization and cost-of-care initiatives. You will model and forecast initiative impacts, perform medical cost claim drilldowns, and collaborate with clinical, contracting, and product teams. Position is based in Philadelphia with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Model and forecast the financial impact of cost-of-care and health value initiatives
  • Perform medical cost claim drilldowns and analyze cost savings opportunities
  • Collaborate with Clinical Care Innovation, Provider Contracting, and Product teams
  • Communicate complex actuarial analyses to internal and external stakeholders
  • Hybrid role based in the Tri-State area (3 days in office: Tue–Thu)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Health cost of care initiatives analysis
  • Medical cost claim drilldowns
  • Risk modelling and actuarial analysis
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools
  • Proficiency in Excel

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Completion of ASA designation required
  • Minimum of 3 years of actuarial or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Excel required
