Assistant Actuary focused on pricing and product development for annuity products within Corebridge Financial's Life & Retirement suite. You will lead pricing analysis, assumption development, and model testing to support product feasibility and go-to-market decisions. Senior-level actuarial role based in Jersey City, NJ (hybrid; may also be located in Houston or Woodland Hills, CA).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Price new individual annuity products and assess risk/reward profiles
- Collaborate with product development, finance, and risk partners
- Develop and test pricing assumptions and perform model validation
- Advanced Excel/Access work; programming in SAS, VBA, SQL, or C++ preferred
- Hybrid role with primary locations in Houston, Woodland Hills, or Jersey City
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial experience with Life & Retirement insurance products
- Pricing annuity products
- Assumption development and model testing
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of actuarial experience with Life & Retirement insurance products
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access
- Experience pricing annuity products and developing assumptions
