JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead pricing and profitability management for annuity and life products
  • Manage and mentor a team of actuarial professionals
  • Develop pricing models and perform profit testing using actuarial software
  • Partner with Product, IT, Marketing, Compliance, Operations, and Finance
  • Mostly on-site in West Des Moines, IA with some hybrid flexibility

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Annuities and life insurance pricing
  • Actuarial management and team leadership
  • Product development and profit testing
  • Rate, form, and value filings with state regulators

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 10 years of actuarial experience with annuities and life insurance
  • Minimum 3 years of actuarial management experience
  • FSA or ASA designation required
  • Experience in product development, pricing, and regulatory filings
