Associate-level health actuarial role focused on pricing ACA-compliant Individual and Small Group markets in New York City. You will maintain pricing and plan-design models, support regulatory filings, and partner with Market P&L and Product teams. Role reports to the Associate Director, Actuarial and is hybrid (3 days/week in-office).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Maintain pricing and plan-design models for ACA Individual and Small Group markets
- Contribute to regulatory filings and strategic pricing recommendations
- Partner with Market P&L, Insurance Product, and cross-functional teams
- Hybrid role — 3 days/week in NYC office; Thursdays required
- Associate-level role reporting to the Associate Director, Actuarial
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- ACA individual and small group pricing
- plan design modeling for ACA products
- preparing regulatory filings for ACA markets
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of quantitative analysis experience
- Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (ASA or FSA), or on-track
- College degree in a STEM field
