JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Perform benefit calculations and request election kits for retirement plans
- Prepare Form 5500, PBGC premium determinations, and Form 8955-SSA
- Produce accounting reports for plan and company financial statements
- Data reconciliation and support plan design changes and audit requests
- Hybrid role based in Philadelphia; entry-level with 0–2 years pension experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Benefit calculations for retirement plans
- Form 5500 and schedules preparation
- PBGC premium determination
- Form 8955-SSA and required DOL notices
- Preparation of accounting reports for plan financial statements
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 0–2 years of professional pension or retirement plan experience
- Proficient use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Fundamental knowledge of pension laws, regulations, and professional standards
- Ability to meet quick turnaround times and travel as necessary
