JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead actuarial modeling and forecasting for Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans
- Analyze large claims, utilization, and cost datasets to assess performance
- Translate analytics into strategic recommendations for product and finance leaders
- Remote role (U.S.-based); Minneapolis/DC hires required in-office four days/week
- Mentor a small team of actuarial students and lead cross-functional projects
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Healthcare actuarial experience
- Modeling and trending benefit and utilization data
- Developing and implementing benefit strategies and programs
- Health care risk management and benefit operations
- Familiarity with health plan analytics and actuarial modelling techniques
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Credentialed actuary required (ASA or FSA)
- 5+ years of healthcare actuarial experience with leadership responsibility
- Experience modeling and trending benefit and utilization data
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance or related field
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, SAS, SQL, and Power BI
