Associate-level Health actuarial role with Highmark in St. David's, Bermuda. You will lead pricing, experience studies, claim trend, medical economics and predictive modelling work, while mentoring junior staff and advising management. The office-based position requires at least three years of actuarial experience, six exam components and a relevant bachelor's degree.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline
- 3 years experience in an Actuarial role
- 6 actuarial exam components passed
Strongly preferred
- 10 or more exam components preferred
- In-depth knowledge of actuarial principles across multiple fields
- Ability to solve complex problems and lead others on straightforward assignments
- Analytical skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Continued progress towards actuarial credential
- Ability to mentor less experienced staff
- Proficiency in actuarial techniques and statistical analysis
