Manager-level U.S. health actuarial role supporting Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and ACA Exchange value-based care. You’ll lead pricing, underwriting, risk adjustment, predictive modelling, reserving, financial reconciliation, and client-facing contract work while managing staff and cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
Must have
- ASA in the Society of Actuaries
- Minimum of 5+ years of healthcare actuarial or similar experience
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing conversations and presentations
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics or related field
- Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries
- Proven track record in high growth corporate, venture capital or private equity funded environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of actuarial principles and healthcare claims data
- Experience leading diverse teams and managing cross functional projects
- Prior experience in partner/provider analytics, payer-provider contracting, or value-based care
- Ability to present highly technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, or Python
