HIGHLIGHTS

Associate Actuary (Health) supporting Medicaid markets, focused on monthly reserving and revenue modelling for a national health plan. This is a fully remote role for candidates in US Eastern or Central time zones.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support Medicaid markets with monthly reserving and IBNR calculations
  • Develop monthly revenue models and financial reporting exhibits
  • Prepare actuarial opinions, regulatory and statutory exhibits
  • 100% remote role for candidates in Eastern or Central US time zones
  • Ideal for an ASA or near-ASA with 4+ years in healthcare/Medicaid

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Medicaid and/or ACA product experience
  • monthly IBNR and reserve calculations
  • monthly membership and revenue modelling
  • experience mining and analyzing large data sets

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • ASA or near-ASA (1–2 requirements remaining)
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, or related
  • 4+ years experience in healthcare and/or Medicaid/ACA products
  • Advanced Excel plus SAS and SQL; strong database analysis skills
  • Must reside in US Central or Eastern time zone (remote)
