Associate Actuary supporting Prudential Bermuda Reinsurance in Newark, NJ. You'll contribute to pricing, rate-setting, reserving and capital analysis for reinsurance transactions, support model governance and collaborate on ALM and assumption work.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Contribute to rate-setting and pricing for flow reinsurance business
- Perform baseline and sensitivity pricing analyses for new transactions
- Support reserve and capital methodology development and ALM choices
- Participate in model governance, assumption documentation and tracking
- Associate-level role (ASA) based in Newark, NJ with 4+ years' experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- pricing and rate-setting for reinsurance
- analysis of financial statements and international accounting
- knowledge of regulatory capital and solvency frameworks
- experience with reserves and reserve methodology
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of related actuarial or reinsurance experience
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or similar required
- Working knowledge of financial statements and international accounting
- Understanding of regulatory capital and solvency requirements
