JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop valuation, projection and cash-flow testing models for life products
- Prepare actuarial memoranda and respond to state insurance departments
- Work with statutory and GAAP valuation concepts, DAC amortization and RBC
- Use actuarial software (ARCVAL, ARCBase, MG-ALFA) and advanced spreadsheets
- Onsite role in Cincinnati, OH with extended hours during peak workloads
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Statutory and GAAP valuation, DAC amortization and RBC
- Valuation, projection and experience study tooling (ARCVAL, ARCBase, MG-ALFA)
- Cash-flow testing and asset/liability analysis
- Preparation of actuarial memoranda and filings to state insurance departments
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field (required)
- Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) upon hire
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) upon hire
- Proficient with valuation and projection software (ARCVAL, ARCBase, MG-ALFA)
- Expert in spreadsheet, database and mainframe applications
