JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead reserve valuation and PBR modelling for life and annuity products
  • Prepare regulatory filings and Statements of Actuarial Opinion
  • Work with auditors and state examiners on periodic audits
  • Develop and document Prophet models and enhance model governance
  • Hybrid role based in Boston, MA (onsite every other week)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Individual annuity and life product experience
  • Reserve valuation for life and annuity products
  • Principle-based reserves (PBR) modelling
  • Statutory and GAAP reserving and filings
  • Asset adequacy and Statement of Actuarial Opinion experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Fellow of the SOA (FSA) or experienced Associate of the SOA (ASA)
  • 10+ years of actuarial experience
  • Solid knowledge of individual annuity and life insurance products
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
