JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead internal audits of actuarial and financial processes per IIA standards
- Assess controls and financial calculations, identify key risks
- Use data and analytics to drive audit insight and efficiency
- Lead multiple concurrent moderate-to-high complexity projects
- In-office or hybrid role in Des Moines, IA (at least three days in office)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial experience (6+ years)
- Knowledge of Actuarial Standards of Practice (ASOPs) and applicable laws/regulations
- Experience evaluating financial controls and calculations
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA or FSA with Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
- 6+ years of actuarial experience
- Bachelor’s degree in math, actuarial science, finance, or related field
- Knowledge of Actuarial Standards of Practice (ASOPs) and relevant laws
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
