Associate Actuary role in Life focusing on individual life product design and pricing in Addison, TX. You will develop and oversee actuarial models for indexed and fixed/traditional life products, set pricing assumptions, and support regulatory filings. The role includes mentoring actuarial students/analysts and presenting results to Distribution Leadership and the Product Risk Committee. Onsite schedule expects four days per week in the office.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Design and price indexed and fixed/traditional individual life products
- Develop and oversee actuarial models to assess rates and profitability
- Support regulatory filings, illustrations, and actuarial reporting
- Mentor and direct actuarial students and analysts
- Onsite role in Addison, TX with four days/week in office (Mon–Thu)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Pricing Individual Life products
- Indexed Universal Life (Indexed UL) experience
- Life valuation and nonforfeiture knowledge including 7702/7702A
- Preparation of actuarial materials for state filings and illustrations
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Active actuarial credentials required
- Experience pricing Individual Life products; Indexed UL strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of valuation, nonforfeiture, 7702/7702A, and illustrations
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
