JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Price and reserve Florida homeowners business for a P&C carrier
- Build predictive models and perform profitability and segmentation analyses
- Support regulatory rate filings and catastrophe exposure reviews
- Work onsite in Jacksonville, FL; report to VP of Actuarial Services
- ACAS required with 5+ years of actuarial or P&C experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property & Casualty insurance experience
- Pricing and reserving experience
- Predictive modeling experience
- Catastrophe exposure and reinsurance analysis
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ACAS designation required (near-completion candidates may be considered)
- 5+ years of actuarial or Property & Casualty insurance experience
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required
- Advanced SQL and Excel skills required; Python or R experience expected
- Experience with pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, and catastrophe review
