JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support pricing, profitability analysis, and state rate filings for health products
- Compile monthly and quarterly actuarial reports and ad hoc regulatory reporting
- Develop actuarial computer models and liaise with IT
- Determine reserves for reported and unreported liabilities
- Manage, coach, and develop other actuarial team members
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- State rate filings and regulatory submissions
- Profitability analysis and rate setting
- Reserving for reported and unreported liabilities
- Actuarial reporting systems and ad hoc regulatory reporting
- Developing actuarial models and liaising with IT
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required
- ASA or ACAS designation required
- 5 years of actuarial experience
- Experience preparing state rate filings and regulatory submissions
- Ability to determine reserves and perform profitability analysis
