Role Summary
Associate Actuary (Life) focused on Variable Annuities and RILA valuation in Houston, TX (hybrid with remote options). You will support quarterly statutory valuations (VM-21, RBC C3 P2, NY Reg 213), annual Asset Adequacy Testing, model lifecycle controls and validation, and partner with Finance, IT and ERM. Role reports to the Director, Variable Annuities Model owner and requires ASA or FSA credentialing.
Key Requirements
- Fellow (FSA) or Associate (ASA) of the Society of Actuaries
- Experience with statutory valuations for Variable Annuities (VM-21/RBC C3 P2/NY Reg 213)
- Experience with model lifecycle, UAT and model validation processes
- Ability to explain complex actuarial concepts to non-technical stakeholders
