Requirements

Must have

  • Active pursuit of FCAS designation required
  • 3+ years of P&C or reinsurance pricing experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Python
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field

Strongly preferred

  • ACAS or near-ACAS standing preferred
  • Master's degree strongly preferred
  • Experience building and deploying predictive models in commercial/specialty insurance
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Proficiency in R strongly preferred
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (GLMs, GBMs, etc.)
  • Experience with rate filing and DOI interactions preferred
  • Prior experience in data engineering or data science teams preferred
  • Experience with cloud platforms and big data tools preferred
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) preferred
  • Experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
