Associate P&C actuary role in WD InsurTech’s Actuarial Pricing & Analytics function, based in Bozeman, Montana, with hybrid or remote US flexibility. You’ll build predictive pricing models, rate indications, and pricing infrastructure across commercial, specialty, property, casualty, and reinsurance portfolios while partnering with underwriting and senior leadership.
Requirements
Must have
3+ years of progressive actuarial experience in P&C insurance/reinsurance pricing
Active pursuit of FCAS designation
Advanced proficiency in Python
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
Strongly preferred
ACAS or near-ACAS standing
Experience building and deploying predictive models and pricing tools in commercial/specialty insurance
Proficiency in R
Strong SQL skills
Nice to have
Experience with rate filing preparation and DOI interactions
Familiarity with MGU/MGA, program, treaty, or facultative reinsurance business structures
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data tools (Spark, Databricks, Snowflake)
