Closer to capital and risk strategy than a pure pricing partner role, because ORSA, cash flow testing, and enterprise modeling sit alongside product work.
Associate Actuary role in a Health insurance environment, focused on Group Disability Income product development, risk management, ALM, and ORSA. You will build and govern actuarial models, perform cash flow testing and scenario analysis, and translate results for senior management and business partners. The hybrid position can be based in Lincoln, Nebraska, or Cincinnati, Ohio.
Requirements
Must have
- 4-7 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
- Actuarial modeling experience
- ASA designation
- Eligible to work in the US without temporary authorization
Strongly preferred
- Prophet modeling experience
- SQL programming experience
- Programming experience
Nice to have
- FSA designation
- MAAA designation
- Experience with VBA, R, Python or related languages
