Role Summary

Associate Actuary role focused on annuity valuation within Transamerica's life/annuity business. You will perform statutory valuation, reserve and capital analysis for variable annuities and RILA, support cash flow testing and financial reporting, and partner with management, auditors and regulators. Hybrid role based in Cedar Rapids, IA (three days/week in office).

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience (Master's +4 years accepted)
FSA required; ASA accepted with 8 years of relevant experience
Experience with statutory valuation, reserve calculations and capital analysis
Ability to produce timely financial results and communicate with auditors/regulators
Hybrid work in hub locations (Cedar Rapids or Denver); occasional travel <10%
