Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Associate Actuary role focused on annuity valuation within Transamerica's life/annuity business. You will perform statutory valuation, reserve and capital analysis for variable annuities and RILA, support cash flow testing and financial reporting, and partner with management, auditors and regulators. Hybrid role based in Cedar Rapids, IA (three days/week in office).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Perform statutory valuation and reserve calculations for VA and RILA products
Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and capital analysis
Support cash flow testing and potential GAAP exposure analysis
Hybrid role — 3 days/week in office (Tue–Thu) in Cedar Rapids or Denver
FSA required (ASA accepted with additional experience) and 5+ years' relevant experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Ability to produce timely financial results and communicate with auditors/regulators
Hybrid work in hub locations (Cedar Rapids or Denver); occasional travel <10%
