JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop and analyze scenario-based capital and balance sheet results
- Support regulatory reporting, solvency and earnings volatility analysis
- Maintain frameworks for capital calculations, forecasting, and roll forwards
- Lead improvements to actuarial modeling, data flows, and process automation
- Remote role; requires FSA and 6+ years of life insurance actuarial experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- life insurance actuarial experience
- GAAP and statutory valuation and reporting
- scenario-based capital and balance sheet analysis
- knowledge of life, health, and annuity products
- database applications and SQL experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
- 6+ years of actuarial experience in the life insurance industry
- Knowledge of GAAP, statutory, and tax valuation and financial reporting
- Advanced database skills (Access, Oracle, SQL) and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead smaller projects
