You will lead experience studies, analyze persistency and mortality/morbidity, support assumption-setting and reserve adequacy, and contribute to product development while overseeing a small team. Hybrid role requiring three days per week in a hub office.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead experience analytics covering persistency, mortality/morbidity and sales reporting
- Manage actuarial assumption studies and provide inputs to valuation and reserves
- Support product actuarial work including system specs and commission structures
- Oversee or supervise a small actuarial team and present findings to management
- Hybrid role — 3 days/week in office (Tuesday–Thursday) in Philadelphia hub
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Persistency and mortality/morbidity experience analysis
- Actuarial assumption studies and assumption setting
- Reserve adequacy and reserve analysis
- Actuarial support for product development and pricing
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA required (ASA accepted with 8 years of relevant experience)
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years relevant experience (Master’s +4 accepted)
- Proven experience with persistency, mortality/morbidity and reserve analysis
- Excellent computer and analytical skills
- Hybrid — must be onsite 3 days/week in a hub location (Philadelphia)
