Role Summary

This is a Life/Health actuarial role on the modeling validation team at American National, based in Houston, TX. You will test and validate model enhancements for valuation, cash flow testing, and assumption-setting. The ideal candidate is an ASA with 4-6 years of experience and progress toward FSA, with strong mentoring skills.

Key Requirements

  • ASA designation required (progress toward FSA preferred)
  • 4–6 years of actuarial experience
  • Bachelor's in math, stats, or related quantitative field
  • Prior model testing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with AXIS, ALFA, MoSes or PathWise preferred
