You will help transform the ILI FAC data ecosystem, building AWS Redshift-based data architecture and integrating actuarial and finance data to Power BI and Anaplan. This hybrid associate-level role focuses on data engineering and BI to enable actuarial analytics and reporting.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Associate Actuary on ILI FAC Transformation team supporting Individual Life data
- Design and build AWS Redshift data solutions for finance and actuarial data
- Develop data pipelines, quality controls, and documentation for analytics
- Integrate Redshift with Power BI and Anaplan for reporting and modeling
- Preferably hybrid role based in Newark, NJ; virtual candidates considered
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Managing large finance or actuarial datasets
- AWS Redshift proficiency
- Translating business requirements into data solutions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Math, CS, or related field
- Hands-on experience managing large finance or actuarial datasets
- Proficiency with AWS Redshift for data warehousing
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
- Strong analytical skills and attention to data quality and controls
