You will develop rates, perform ultimate loss projections and trend studies, support DOI rate filings, and partner with underwriters and management. Role is Associate-level based in Philadelphia, PA (company also hires in NYC, Princeton, Chicago).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Provide pricing and rating support for Insurance Programs (P&C specialty lines)
- Prepare rates, ultimate loss projections and trend studies
- Support DOI state filing process and actuarial filing documentation
- Use PowerBI for ratemaking and data analysis; R/Python/SAS preferred
- Associate-level role requiring 3+ years’ pricing experience and 4+ CAS exams

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, economics or related field
- Passed at least four (4) Casualty Actuarial Society exams
- At least three (3) years of insurance/reinsurance actuarial pricing experience
- Proficient in MS Office and PowerBI for ratemaking and analysis
- Ability to apply exposure adjustments, trend and loss development techniques
